| The School Bus Has Arrived |

The school bus for which we've been waiting has finally arrived. It drove into the Church Army Africa compound on Friday, June 23, 2006 at about midday. |

We thank God for this gift for our children at the Church Army Academy. We are particularly grateful for the team from Church Army UK who, together with a team form here, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro as part of the effort to raise money for the bus. |

Students at the academy gladly received the bus. A mini-service was conducted in which we gave thanks for the gift. The 33-seater Isuzu bus, which came from General Motors, will be used for school purposes, for ferrying the children to and from school morning and evening and for study trips elsewhere. |

| As the moment of Soul Nairobi draws near, we want to testify of God’s moves towards the project by giving thanks for the things he has done and continues to do. |
Soul Nairobi, set to run from August 5 to 13, is a city-wide event organised by Church Army. During the event, thousands of young people from churches in Nairobi are going to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with the city’s residents through engagement in certain social activities. The youth will engage in clean-ups, painting of public buildings, music gigs, etc as a way of making Christ known.
