| PRAYER STRATEGY for SOUL NAIROBI |
| As the moment of Soul Nairobi draws near, we want to testify of God’s moves towards the project by giving thanks for the things he has done and continues to do. |

| Soul Nairobi, set to run from August 5 to 13, is a city-wide event organised by Church Army. During the event, thousands of young people from churches in Nairobi are going to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with the city’s residents through engagement in certain social activities. The youth will engage in clean-ups, painting of public buildings, music gigs, etc as a way of making Christ known. |

- Thank God that we are finalizing which schools will be involved in SN.
|
- Thank God that money is coming in. However, we need large amounts of money and fast, to secure the people and places we have booked. We need a float of KSH 1.5 million since most funds are expected during the week of mission. We want at least 50 people to each commit KSH 10,000 (£90.00; $140.00) to this work.

- Thank God that we are seeing unity amongst many organisations who wish to partner with us in this venture. Unity is essential for the SN vision; we need ‘united families’ (Acts 2:44+).

| 2. Petitions |
- 24/7 PRAYER ROOMS
we want at least 1 church in each of the 6 zones of Nairobi, to host a prayer room where people can pray 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have none yet.

- SPONSORS
we want 2-3 main financial sponsors for the overall event, then several sponsors and local churches to ‘own’ and resource the local community projects.
|
- ENERGY
The core planning team are exhausted and need: supporters to share the load, encouragers and energy.
|
- FAVOUR WITH PASTORS
We particularly want Senior Pastors and Bishops to: “…Run with the Vision” (Habakkuk 2:1-3). We want churches to ‘adopt streets’ and projects.

- Ephesians 3:20: He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can dare ask, think or imagine as He works through us with His mighty power.

- Philippians 4:7 – Let the peace of God, which passes all understanding, protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

- Habakkuk 2:14 – The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God’s glory, in the same way the waters cover the sea.
