Educational Bursaries
Since a poor neighbourhood surrounds the school, there is high incidence of crime, unemployment and poverty. And so Church Army conceived the idea of a Bursary Fund.
The Bursary Scheme for needy children is the initiative of the Management of the school. Its mission is to minimise as much as possible cases of children dropping out of school for lack of fees. There are in the neighbourhood a high death rate of parents or guardians from HIV/AIDS and retrenchment. The management is always looking out for opportunities to expand the Bursary Fund to grant to as many poor children as possible the chance to secure education.

There are two types of bursaries, the Full Bursary Funds and Partial Bursary Funds. The Principle of the school explains that the Full Bursary Fund caters for Orphans, those whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS,
while the latter caters for those who have lost a parent or a parent have been retrenched.
There are 14 children supported by the Full Bursary Fund while the Partial supports 12 children. All the beneficiaries of these Funds are catered for in terms of uniforms, textbooks, meals and trips.
